What's your favourite manga?
Can you recommend manga for me to read?

I sort of grew out of anime and manga around four years ago but I'd really like to start reading manga again. I can't find anything I like, though. I don't like series that are too stupid/random/pointless (WHY DO I LIKE HETALIA? 8D) or where the characters are chibi in, like, every other frame.
I'd really like to read something with interesting characters and a good plot, if such manga exists :/
... and something not completely cliche. That's why I got fed up of anime and manga in the first place D:
